Artist's Statement

My photographic journey is relatively short compared to most.  Being raised in Florida and with my love for the outdoors, I am instantly drawn to landscape photography.  Camping under the stars, walking on sandy beaches, or watching a beautiful sunset, are all inspirations for capturing unique moments.

 

When I take a photo, I spend time wandering around, searching for the perfect composition.  I try and imagine how I want the final photo to look and feel.  Then, I decide what camera settings are needed to accomplish that look.  I simplify the scene, focus on what caught my attention, and digitally capture what’s before my eyes.

 

Making art is a personal journey for me.  It's about finding my own style and learning more about myself.  It’s not just about using fancy equipment – it's about discovering new things in life.  Each picture I take tells a story, a mix of real life and my own imagination.
